Fan Zeng, a well-known Chinese painting and calligraphy master, gave a lecture themed on the philosophy of Buddhism on Oct 27th, a day named Fan Zeng Day as well.

　　Fan made a brief introduction on Buddhist theories, based on his education and his perspectives, and then analyzed the differences between Chinese classical philosophy and the Western philosophy.

　　He continued to state that learning the essence of Buddhism could help one to ease his mind and get rid of worries. Artists should also create their work with positive elements to help people connect with the truth and kindness in their lives.

　　Besides, Fan had an academic interaction with students from Shandong University, urging them to continue learning about Buddhist philosophies.
